Philippines youth pastor nominated for best radio jock
Manila, Philippines
The Association of Broadcasters in the Philippines (Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas, KBP) holds its Golden Dove Awards annually to recognize individuals who have used their talents to impact radio and television with inspirational messages.

Jordan Escusa, youth pastor at Taytay First Church of the Nazarene, hosts a radio program for area youth called Perfect Rhythm. World Mission Broadcast partners with Far East Broadcasting Company, a local Christian radio station, to broadcast the program, and FEBC submitted Escusa's name for Best Radio Jock.

In January, Escusa prepared his application for the nomination. Three months later he received word he was selected as one of four finalists.

"Pastor Jordan, although he did not win the title, will always be a winner for Christ in impacting the airwaves about the good news of God's salvation, as he continues to soar high bringing the inspiration to the lives of many young people of his generation, ultimately drawing them to the feet of our great Creator," said Emily Bolinas of World Mission Broadcast.
