MNU to host postmodern youth ministry conference featuring Tony Jones
Friday, August 24, 2007
Olathe, Kansas
MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU), Nazarene Youth International, YouthFront, and Nazarene Theological Seminary are pleased to welcome Tony Jones, author of Postmodern Youth Ministry (Zondervan), for a three-day conference, September 20-22, at MNU in Olathe, Kansas. The cost for the conference is $50 (U.S.).
During several plenary sessions, Jones will offer insights into how the enormous philosophical shifts of postmodernism are affecting today’s youth.
Attendees will greatly benefit from the breakout sessions—which will include local and regionally known youth pastors from the Kansas City area and YouthFront—and panel discussions around what makes for transformative ministry within this changing, postmodern context.
The conference will also include a children’s ministry track discussing the latest academic and field research.
The public is invited to attend. For more information and to register for this event, visit www.mnu.edu/events/mrc. The registration deadline is September 10.
