The ARK creates church shelter in MAC Region
El Mango, Guatemala
Wednesday, February 13, 2008
The Mexico and Central America (MAC) Region received a church-planting concept from Jesus Film Harvest Partners (JFHP) called the ARK.
This is the same concept that is used by the U.S. military to house military planes with portable shelters.
A specialized team was brought in from the U.S. to set up the ARK, led by JFHP representative Darrell Leber.
A church was being planted in El Mango, Guatemala, while the ARK was being assembled. Ninety-four people were packed into the ARK for the first service.
The integrated ministry team in the North District of Guatemala planted the church with the JESUS Film and other Compassion Ministry projects in the community.
