Ignite! 2009 Global NYI Convention Prayer Initiative

Nazarene Youth International (NYI) is excited to announce a new prayer initiative called Ignite! They are calling their Nazarene brothers and sisters to join them in a season of prayer in order to immerse the upcoming Global NYI Convention and General Assembly in fervent prayer.

The 2009 Global Convention will be held at nine different satellite sites as well as the central location in Orlando, Florida. All 10 sites will be connected by a live video feed and will stream the worship sessions and business sessions. It was voted at the Global NYI Convention in 2005 to expand the voting bar to include several different sites and, therefore, allow more regional delegate representation at the upcoming convention.

Due to the massive technology and distance restrictions, many new obstacles have been added to the planning teams and leaders around the world. NYI asks for support in prayer for the 2009 Global NYI Convention and General Assembly.
