NYI resolutions due
Thursday, December 4, 2008
Global Ministry Center
As many are preparing for the 22nd Global Nazarene Youth International (NYI) Convention, it is nearing time to submit resolutions for consideration. All resolution submissions are due to the NYI office by December 13. Unfortunately due to planning and Convention deadlines, resolutions will not be accepted after this date.
Delegates may submit resolutions by downloading an official resolution form from the Global NYI Convention web site. For more details and guidelines, please visit the NYI Convention web site at www.NYIToday.org.
Below are examples of how recent resolutions have made an impact on NYI:

Delegates may submit resolutions by downloading an official resolution form from the Global NYI Convention web site. For more details and guidelines, please visit the NYI Convention web site at www.NYIToday.org.
Below are examples of how recent resolutions have made an impact on NYI:
- In 2001 a resolution was passed that enabled NYI to change the official constitution. The change in constitution has allowed for regional, district, and local level leaders to make adjustments to the ministry plans in accordance to their customs and needs. This was a monumental change in the life of NYI and has given needed ministry flexibility and adaptability to all NYI Chapters.
- At the most recent Global NYI Convention in 2005, a resolution was passed that expanded the voting bar for the upcoming 2009 Global NYI Convention. Each region is able to have up to two "satellite" sites that will be fully functioning voting centers for delegates. These sites will be connected to the main site in Orlando, Florida, via video conferencing abilities. The decision will enable fair representation to the regions who will be hosting a Global NYI Convention site. For a complete list of the official sites, please visit www.NYIToday.org.
