Global Ministry Center
The Church of the Nazarene's 27th General Assembly and Conventions is just around the corner and promises to be one for the record books. For the first time in the Church's history, the majority of this elected body will likely be made up of representatives from outside the U.S. and Canada.

Many of the USA/Canada delegates and guests are beginning to plan their trip to Orlando - booking airline tickets, making hotel reservations, and setting aside a few extra dollars to visit area attractions.

For those who are traveling to Orlando from other world areas, the process is much more complicated. Most global delegates are required by law to obtain a visa for entrance into the U.S., which is not always a convenient task. Many times these delegates travel hundreds of miles, wait countless hours in lines, and often spend more than a year's salary to simply obtain the required travel documents - which are not always granted at the first request, if at all.

As the face of the Church of the Nazarene becomes increasingly global, the presence of these international voices is absolutely necessary when discussing the important issues that are brought before the General Assembly and Conventions.

The Church of the Nazarene International Delegate Expense Aid (IDEA) Fund was created to provide financial assistance for world area delegates who incur such great financial costs to be a part of the global celebration. Donations will be accepted through June 1 and can be mailed directly to the Church of the Nazarene Global Ministry Center (see contact information below).

Please consider joining in and sharing your resources with brothers and sisters in Christ all over the globe.
