The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who have recently gone home to be with the Lord. Notices were received from April 27 - May 1, 2009.

Clarence L. Edgar passed away April 26 in Lutes Mountain, New Brunswick. He was a retired minister in the Church of the Nazarene, having served in the Canada Central and Canada Atlantic Districts. He was married to Joan Edgar.

Betty M. Evelsizer passed away April 16 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was the wife of the late Nazarene minister Ralph Baker, and the late Carl E. Evelsizer.

Eugene L. Mingus passed away April 25 in Boise, Idaho. He was a retired minister in the Church of the Nazarene, having served in Iowa, Colorado, and California. He was married to Betty Mingus.

Florence Marion Muth passed away December 21, 2008. She and her late husband, Duane Muth, taught at European Nazarene College from 1975-1979. Florence taught English and played the piano while Duane taught various courses at the college.

Marguerite (Mann) Nielson passed away in February. She was the wife of European Nazarene College founding rector John B. Nielson. Together they began the work in 1965. She is remembered for her efforts in helping students learn English. (story)

Michael K. Richardson passed away April 25 in Kimball, West Virginia. He was a former minister in the Church of the Nazarene, having served in West Virginia.
