May 7, 2009, was the National Day of Prayer in the U.S.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. This was the 58th annual observance.

Many Nazarenes were among the millions of Americans observing as individuals or part of organized events.
