Beacon Hill Press announces the premiere of the electronic edition of the New Beacon Bible Commentary at the 27th General Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene, Orlando, Florida. The first volume of this library will include the print volumes currently in print: Romans 1-8, Romans 9-16, Jeremiah 1-25, Daniel, and Philippians.

The New Beacon Bible Commentary Library will be released in the popular Libronix format by Logos Bible Software. According to Marketing Manager Barry Russell, "Logos was chosen as a partner to develop the electronic format because of its robust search engine and the number of resources available for Wesleyan scholars and pastors that can connect with the New Beacon Bible Commentary Library. This connectivity between other books, dictionaries, Bible translations, Lexicons, maps, charts, other commentaries, and many other tools makes this a powerful study resource. Many of the Nazarene universities and other Wesleyan schools currently take advantage of Logos Bible software and it seems a natural fit to provide a resource that compliments what is currently being used."

At General Assembly, Logos will have representatives on hand to give daily demonstrations of the capabilities of this tool. Twice each day, at the Nazarene Publishing House booth in the Exhibit Hall, a demonstration of this software will be given. In addition, there will be opportunities for individualized demonstrations of the power and capabilities of this tool.

Release of the first volume of the electronic edition to the public will occur on July 1.
