The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who have recently gone home to be with the Lord. Notices were received from August 3-7, 2009.

Evelyn Abney passed away July 31 in Spencer, Indiana. She was the wife of retired elder Melvin G. Abney. Together they served in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Kathy Bauder passed away July 30. She was a retired missionary in the Church of the Nazarene, having served in Swaziland. She was married to Wayne Bauder. More information will be posted when it becomes available.

Carl C. Green Sr. passed away July 29 in Salem, Oregon. He was a retired minister and evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene, having served in Iowa, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Washington.

Nellie Haley, 78, passed away August 2 in Bowdoinham, Maine. She was the wife of retired elder W. Clayton Haley. Together they served in Maine.

Perefoti Ieremia passed away July 31 in Waianae, Hawaii. He was a minister in the Ma'ili Samoan Church of the Nazarene. He was married to Tutaima Ieremia. More information will be posted when it becomes available.

Betty Jones
passed away July 22 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was the wife of retired minister Samuel E. Jones. Together they served in South Carolina and North Carolina.

William H. Klakamp, 69, passed away July 27 in Ellenton, Florida. He was a former minister in the Church of the Nazarene, having served in Indiana. He was married to Judith H. Klakamp.

Marjorie H. Merritts, 77, passed away August 2 in Waterford, Michigan. She was a retired missionary in the Church of the Nazarene, having served in Papua New Guinea. More information will be posted when it becomes available.
