GMC Flags of the Nations: Bolivia

Global Ministry Center
Since September 1, 2009, the Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center (GMC) proudly flies a flag each week of one of the many nations in which the denomination is present in ministry. Leaders were invited to send a national flag to be flown at the GMC alongside the flag of the United States*. The national flags rotate weekly, and photos of them raised are sent to the church leaders of that country.

This week: Bolivia

The Church of the Nazarene officially entered Bolivia in 1945.

Bolivia had a population of 10,290,003 in 2012. That same year, Bolivia reported 238 Churches of the Nazarene, 220 of which had been officially organized. Bolivia has 11,378 total members.

Bolivia has two Phase 3 districts, one Phase 2 district, and three Phase 1 districts. It is a part of the South America Region. For more information, visit samnaz.org.

Note: Flags are not flown at the GMC during inclement weather. If flags are not flown for at least three days during the week, that flag is flown the next week. NCN News only publishes flag articles on weeks when flags are flown at least three days.
