South Africa Eastern District elects new superintendent
Hluvukani, South Africa
Thursday, February 4, 2010
Approximately 287 delegates rejoiced in the election of Solomon Ndlovo at the 25th assembly of the South Africa Eastern District held at the Thulamahashe Church of the Nazarene in Hluvukani, South Africa, on January 9.
Ndlovo, who pastors the largest congregation on the district at Thulamahashe, reported 279 new members at the assembly.
He succeeds Walter Tshabalala, who served as district superintendent for 10 years. Ndlovo was elected on the second ballot, which indicated the confidence of the district delegation in him as a spiritual leader with character and integrity.
"He and his wife, Kgomotso Gloria, are loved across the South Field," stated Collin Elliott, Africa South Field strategy coordinator. "We wish them well in their new assignment as they lead the Eastern District into another level of growth."
