Fire destroys Bahamas church
Beacon Hill, Bahamas
Monday, March 8, 2010
Micah Hepburn, Bahamas District Advisory Board secretary, reports the Beacon Hill Church of the Nazarene experienced a fire on March 4. The entire top floor of the two-story structure was burned and all furniture and equipment in the church were destroyed.

There have been no reports of injuries.

A call has already been sent out to the other Nazarene churches on the district asking for emergency help both monetarily and to physically go and do repairs and rebuilding work on the church.

Antoine St. Louis, who pastors a nearby Nazarene church, reported, "I went by Beacon Hill tonight. Indeed the whole of the second floor is destroyed with everything in it. Our prayers and immediate support is needed."
