Global praise reports and prayer requests: February 17, 2012
Thursday, February 16, 2012
Global Ministry Center
This week's praise reports and prayer requests from Nazarene Missions International, JESUS Film Harvest Partners, and NCN News include:
PRAISES
JESUS Film - Ecuador
"Problems, conflicts, and bitterness filled my life," said Maria in Ecuador. "I was far away from the Lord. One day, I was alone in my home and opened the Bible. I began to read and started to cry. I prayed for the Lord to give me a second chance. I reconciled with God but did not know where to worship with other believers. The same day, some people knocked on my door inviting me to a church the JESUS film helped start. Since that day, I've been attending the new church with my children. My life has completely changed and I am serving God. We are praying that my husband will come to the Lord as well. We know that God will answer our prayers and one day my husband will be attending church with us."
JESUS Film - Paraguay
"I am loved by a great God," said Luis in Paraguay. "I am privileged to know Christ as my Savior. I give my life to His service. I want others to know Him, too."
JESUS Film - Sierra Leone
"I smoked marijuana in the ghetto," said Joseph in Sierra Leone. "I was addicted to drugs and away from my family. My life was miserable. I was against the teachings of Jesus. The second day the JESUS film showed in my neighborhood, I watched. When I saw with my eyes what Christ did on the cross for the entire human race, I was touched and gave my life to Jesus. He is my Savior. Continue to pray for me that God will help me become a strong follower. Also, pray I will have the power of the Holy Spirit as I share my testimony with my friends."
