The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who have recently gone home to be with the Lord. Notices were received April 30-May 5, 2012.
Janie J. Malone, 93, of Hartford, Connecticut, passed away on April 14. She was a former minister, serving in Tennessee.
John LeRoy Lawrence, 87, of Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away on April 28. He was a member of Corey Church of the Nazarene where he sang and soloed in the choir. Lawrence also served on numerous church boards and was a Sunday School superintendent. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine E. (Favorite) Lawrence.
Ingeborg Maria Schoenleber, 84, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on April 26. She was the widow of retired Nazarene International Headquarters employee Erich Schoenleber, who passed away in 2007.
