This week's praise reports and prayer requests from Nazarene Missions International, JESUS Film Harvest Partners, and NCN News include:


PRAISES

JESUS Film - Brazil
"I am in a rehabilitation center," said Moro in Brazil. "I am honored to share my testimony. I watched the film in the home of a friend. I realized people could change, so I decided to embrace faith in Christ. I am very young in my faith but am eager to grow. I am using a basic Bible study for discipleship and am in rehabilitation for my drug use. Pray for me as I overcome the temptation of drugs."

JESUS Film - Liberia
"Rachael was a witch since birth," said a team member in Liberia. "We prayed for a week before we went to the town to show the JESUS film. At one altar call, Rachael came forward giving her life to Christ. She realized she had been harmful to her brothers and sisters. Rachael asked for forgiveness and prayers. She thanked God for opening her eyes and is preparing for baptism." 

JESUS Film - Mexico
"I was a drug dealer," said Juan in Mexico. "I accepted Christ when I saw the JESUS film. I made many changes in my life. I no longer sell or use drugs and I am attending discipleship classes."


PRAYER REQUESTS

Denmark Cafe
Please pray for the Church of the Nazarene in Denmark, as they raise funds and look to purchase a building approved as a cafe, in order to open a cafe ministry in Copenhagen. Ask God to ensure details come together smoothly and in His timing.

Tribal Violence
Pray for the people in Papua New Guinea who are involved in tribal violence. Ask the Lord to bring peace to their hearts and communities. To see how God uses Nazarene missionaries to be His hands of healing to victims of tribal violence, click here to read an Engage Magazine article. 

Africa Hunger Relief 
One of the major burdens Africa has to carry is the sufficient supply of food. Economic crisis, increase in prices, a decrease or complete depletion of income due to AIDS taking away a family’s breadwinner, and recurring droughts, will rob thousands of people this year of one of their most basic needs – food. Pray that the people in Africa have their basic needs met and that the fullness of Christ’s love will fill their hearts. To learn how you can help, click here. 

Honduras Work & Witness
The Primera Iglesia del Nazareno in Vancouver, BC, Canada, are planning a Work & Witness trip to Honduras in August 2012. The team has asked that we pray with them, that the Lord will be with them during the trip, that they can present Him and that the people will have open hearts to receive the Good News of Christ. Pray also for the other Work & Witness teams who are preparing to minister around the world in the coming months. 

Turks and Caicos Needs 
Turks and Caicos is one of the newest countries for the Church of the Nazarene’s ministry. There is an urgent need for JESUS Film equipment and an ARK (portable church) for this developing area. Pray that everything that is needed will be provided. Turks and Caicos are tropical islands in the West Indies, situated southeast in the Bahamas chain of islands. Caicos is the larger of the two Islands, and for the Church of the Nazarene, the country of Turks and Caicos is part of the Mesoamerica Region.
