PRAISES

JESUS Film - Haiti
"I want to give all my life to Jesus," said Gena in Haiti. "I am so happy you brought the JESUS film to our area. I have joy in knowing the truth. I don't know how I lived without Christ in my heart. The love of God is irresistible to me now."

JESUS Film - Niger
"I am a member of a house church," said Mountari in Niger. "I am a seller of small articles. Each time we met, one customer talked with me about Jesus. One day, he invited me to a projection of the JESUS film. I was touched by the images of Christ and His love for people. I desired to have Jesus as my Savior, but was afraid to make the confession in public. After the presentation, I went to the JESUS Film team members, they prayed for me as I became a follower of Christ. I have peace, security, and eternal life."

JESUS Film - Paraguay
"Jesus is the way," said 23-year-old Ariel in Paraguay. "Seeing the life of Christ touched my heart. Hearing His words opened my mind to His love for me. I have faith in Jesus and trust Him with my life. Thank you for this film."


PRAYER REQUESTS

MIA PNG 2012
A group of 12 students from Olivet Nazarene University are currently ministering at the Kudjip Nazarene Hospital in Papua New Guinea through the Mission in Action (MIA) program. Patients at the hospital have asked some of the students to pray for them and for them to ask the global church to pray. Please join with the Olivet students and pray for each patient that is seen at the hospital, that there will be enough supplies and medicines for treatment of their bodies and that the students and hospital staff will minister Jesus to their spirits. HEALTH-RELATED REQUESTS

Carolita Fraley
Pray for Carolita Fraley who fell on May 13 and broke her shoulder in four places. Doctors completed a successfully surgery on May 14 with a total titanium shoulder replacement. Pray for Carolita’s complete healing. She and her husband, David, served as missionaries in France for many years and now pastor the Nazarene church in Caldwell, Idaho. Carolita is also a member of the NMI Global Council and NMI president of the Intermountain District.


BEREAVEMENT

Victor Wright
Victor Wright went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2012. He was the pastor of the Jamaica East District Boulevard Church of the Nazarene until his retirement in 1986. A memorial service will be held for Pastor Wright on May 20 in Jamaica. Pray for the family during this time of loss and as many of them travel to attend the memorial service. It was shared that Pastor Wright dedicated his entire life to serving the Lord. He loved people, was a good communicator, counselor, and was highly respected by both young and old.
