PRAISES

JESUS Film - Jamaica
"God is the most powerful being in the universe," said 11-year-old Alexander in Jamaica. "God sent his only Son to die for us. This made me realize he must really love us. I want to be a child of God."

JESUS Film - Paraguay
"I have a life of peace," said 34-year-old Gilberto in Paraguay. "Jesus changed my life. I received tranquility and I am daily blessed. I pray others will know the peace of Christ in their hearts."

JESUS Film - South Africa
"We are free indeed," said Mosiya in the Republic of South Africa. "My family has long struggled with demon possession. I am so excited knowing that in Christ we are free and liberated from the bondage of Satan. Praise God — I know what he is able to do in us. I trust him now for a miracle even in my family. Please pray for others in my family to surrender to Jesus."

HEALTH-RELATED REQUESTS

Glen and Peggy Plate
Glen and Peggy Plate were driving from their granddaughter Meghan's wedding to the reception in Jefferson City, Missouri, when their van was broadsided in an intersection. They were both flown to Columbia University Hospital, where Glen is in severe critical condition and Peggy is in critical condition. Glen and Peggy are members of the Oskaloosa, Iowa, Gateway Church of the Nazarene.

Becky
Please pray for Becky, the nine-year-old daughter of church workers in a Creative Access Area on the Asia-Pacific Region. Her father writes: “She has been battling a high fever for about 11 days. All the blood work shows that she is battling a virus with some ‘bacterial’ component. They tested for dengue, malaria, chittagongian fever, and all were negative. They finally admitted her to the hospital on Thursday because the doctor wanted to start antibiotic IV therapy and breathing treatments. Her fever is still high, and it hit 105 tonight.”

Ina Kanis
Ina Kanis will have hernia surgery on Tuesday, July 10, at Methodist Hospital in California. Ina and her husband, Jaap, are retired missionaries who served in Mozambique, South Africa, and Botswana.
