The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who have recently gone home to be with the Lord. Notices were received August 6-10, 2012.

Ernest E. Bullock, 77, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away on July 24. He was a minister and registered evangelist, serving in Florida, Michigan, Kentucky, and Mississippi. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Hutchinson) Bullock.

Massie J. "Fred" Bunch Jr., 83, of Calera, Oklahoma, passed away on July 18. He was a retired minister, serving in Texas, California, and Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Louise Bunch.

Myrtle H. Deitz, 102, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away on June 26. She was the widow of retired minister William H. Deitz, who served as district superintendent for the Central California and South Dakota districts and as a pastor in Minnesota, Oklahoma, and California. William H. Deitz passed away in 1995.

Charlotte A. (Munn) Gay, 87, of Arrifana, Portugal, passed away on August 6. She was a retired missionary, serving in Cape Verde from 1955-1972. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel C. Gray, who passed away in 1972.

James R. McCaulla, 90, of Bismark, Missouri, passed away on August 3. He was a retired minister, serving in Oklahoma, Ohio, and Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reta (Trower) McCaulla, who passed away in 2010. 

Willie Mae (Simmons) Mercer, 89, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on August 4. She was the wife of minister James O. Mercer, who served in Indiana. 

Arlene K. (Woodruff) Sampson, 92, of Hemet, California, passed away on July 28. She was the widow of retired minister R. Orville Sampson, who served in Kansas, Oklahoma, Idaho, Washington, and California. R. Orville Sampson passed away in 2000.

Claudia L. Stevenson, 69, of Temple City, California, passed away on August 2. She was a retired missionary, serving in South Africa, Swaziland, and Nigeria from 1969 to 2001.
