Global Ministry Center
This week's praise reports and prayer requests from Nazarene Missions International, JESUS Film Harvest Partners, and NCN News include:

JESUS Film - Costa Rica
"Our follow-up is fruitful," said a team member in Costa Rica. "We met with four people who accepted Christ at the JESUS film showing and also went to the home of Doña Luz. She invited us to meet with her and her three children to share with them from the Bible. We were happy to do so. We have additional follow up scheduled in this community."

JESUS Film - India
"They watched without disturbance," said a team member in India. "The village where we showed the film is occupied by two distinct tribes. We were pleased to present the film with no conflict between the tribe members. Please pray for the work in this area and for our team members."

JESUS Film - Philippines
"God's amazing power is manifest in the people," said a team member in the Philippines. "We are pleased with the result of the outreach and have a Bible study. We are grateful to see the harvest of our work. Long time believers and new followers are being impacted by the Lord."

Elena Hudson
Thank you for praying last month for Elena Hudson, who broke her arm. Doctors in Canada treated the break and thankfully, she did not have to undergo invasive surgery. She will be in a cast for six more weeks. Tamara, Elena’s mom says, “We are thankful for the Lord’s healing help for Elena during this time.” The Hudsons serve as missionaries in Romania.

Immigration Initiative
In the U.S., 13.5 percent of people are immigrants and are some of the most vulnerable to poverty and injustice. Nazarene Compassionate Ministries is working with compassionate ministry centers in the U.S. to open immigration resource centers where immigrant people can come for support. The centers, authorized by the U.S. government, are places where people seeking a path to citizenship can get advice and legal assistance. Click here to learn more.

Democratic Republic of Congo
A Nazarene leader in the DRC wrote: "Pray for the Democratic Republic of Congo, where rebel fighting in the East has intensified, with allegations of rape, forced recruitment of soldiers, and other atrocities against civilians."

Grace Burrows
Grace Burrows was to undergo surgery on her right shoulder on September 10. Following similar surgery on her other shoulder three years ago, she had a respiratory arrest and needed to be resuscitated. Pray for Grace’s complete recovery from the surgery. She is a retired missionary who served in Papua New Guinea and Switzerland.

Dan Balayo
Dan Balayo made a trip to the emergency room last week where tests revealed an infection. He was treated and is recovering. He shares, “No more pains, I think I am ok. Thanks for all the prayers. I felt God’s hand at work through your prayers.” Balayo is the coordinator for holistic child development for Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Asia-Pacific Region.

John Kerr
John Kerr is battling bowel cancer. He is a member of the NazCare management team in Australia. He also pastored in Brisbane, Melbourne, and pioneered the Church of the Nazarene work in Western Australia.
