JESUS Film ministry expands in Colombia

Colombia, North Andean Field
District superintendents and JESUS Film coordinators from Colombia's six districts met on November 8 and 9 to plan the future of the JESUS Film ministry.

JESUS Film ministry on South America's North Andean Field is responsible for dozens of new churches and tens of thousands of people accepting Christ. Statistics show that for every 100 people who see the JESUS film in South America, 16 accept Jesus as their personal Savior, and 10 people continue on to the discipleship program.

South America Regional Director Christian Sarmiento; Regional Coordinator for Evangelism Carlos Fernandez; Brazil JESUS Film Coordinator Alfredo Mulieri; and Dwight Rich, strategy coordinator for the North Andean Field; shared past success and challenges for the future before unveiling a new strategy for the region's JESUS Film ministry.

The original JESUS film, the JESUS Film for Children, and Magdalena were all broken down into short segments for use in home cell groups. Each segment deals with a specific theme and becomes a discussion starter. Manuals are also used to guide these evangelistic meetings.

The Colombian team added five new JESUS Film teams, bringing the total to seven.
