Individuals can get an inside look at the unprecedented opportunities to share the gospel in the Middle East at the Fall 2013 World Mission Broadcast District Tour.

The Middle East can be a volatile area in which to live. Add being a believer in Jesus Christ to that and the challenges are even greater.

On the Fall 2013 WMB District Tour, Ayman Kafrouny and Brian Utter will captivate churches through story, music, and roundtable-type discussions about lives in hostile places transformed through the saving grace of Jesus. The services will feature an opportunity for congregations to not only hear about ministry, but also talk with the broadcast leaders, ask questions, pray with them, and discover ways to get involved and further the cause of sharing Christ.

All offerings received during the Fall 2013 WMB District Tour will support future Arabic media ministry efforts. The tour is available for booking by churches throughout the world from September through November 17, 2013, and in spring 2014.

About Kafrouny and Utter

Ayman Kafrouny was a popular secular singer in the Middle East who walked away from his glamorous career — and a drug addiction — when he gave his life to Christ.

Kafrouny now leads Nazarene Broadcasting and Communications Ministry in Lebanon, most recently producing and airing 35 episodes of an evangelistic series on MTV Lebanon, a popular Arabic-language station in the Middle East that is available in other countries. In addition to his role with World Mission Broadcast, Ayman is the pastor of the Church of the Nazarene in Bouchrieh, a suburb of Beirut, Lebanon.

He continues serving in music ministry, writing songs and performing in concerts. Recently, he began composing a new style of songs that incorporate street words such as drugs and gambling into traditional Arabic hymns.

Married in 2000 after accepting Christ, Ayman and his wife, Grace, now have two children, Priscilla (11) and James (3).

Brian Utter is on specialized global assignment for the Church of the Nazarene and currently serves as global coordinator for World Mission Broadcast and program director for the Shine.FM radio network at Olivet Nazarene University. He served as regional communications coordinator for the denomination's South America Region from 2001 through 2008.

Utter graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Olivet in 1991, a Master of Arts in missiology from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1994, and a Master of Arts in communications from Spain's University of Barcelona in 2008.

He is married to Lynne and they have two sons, Jacob and Michael.
