Nashville, Tennessee
Trevecca Nazarene University will begin offering classes outside the Middle Tennessee area in the fall. Through an agreement with Jackson State Community College signed on February 18, Trevecca will bring the Jackson area its programs designed to help working adults get a college education or earn a graduate degree.

Jackson is about 130 miles west of Nashville, home of Trevecca.

The first program Trevecca will offer in Jackson is its Management and Human Relations degree-completion program. The university is accepting applications for the MHR cohort that will begin classes this fall.

Trevecca also plans to offer a Master of Education in educational leadership, a master's in library and information science, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in health technology.

Trevecca President Dan Boone explained the goal of its new off-campus course offerings.

"The Jackson State-Trevecca partnership will enable more Tennesseans to complete a university education," he said. "I believe it will benefit the people of our state by providing them new opportunities to gain the skills they need for employment."
