Laur Camias, Philippines
For more than seven years, the Church of the Nazarene produced Rated PG, a weekly family radio program in the greater Manila, Philippines, area.

In 2008, during one of their live broadcasts, a woman responded via text message to a free CD giveaway. Pastor Cryz Colorado contacted the caller and said he would deliver the CD on his motorcycle. Little did he know when he made the offer that the caller lived in the remote village of Laur Camias, an hour and a half outside Cabanatuan City.

The roads were so bad that Colorado and his wife crashed their motorcycle and failed to reach the village on their first and second attempt. The couple eventually walked three and a half kilometers (about two miles) to reach the community.

Recognizing the need for the gospel, Colorado continued to visit the community twice a month. The Cabanatuan First Church of the Nazarene provided a handog pagibig (gift of love) to the community for the Christmas of 2008, where they celebrated Christmas with gifts, food, and the Christmas Story.

Colorado continued ministering through once-a-month Bible studies. In 2009, he coordinated a vacation Bible school and Easter and Christmas celebrations, again supported by the Cabanatuan church.

The radio, gospel, prayer, and persistence of Colorado were celebrated on April 13 when the Laur Camias Church of the Nazarene was organized. District Superintendent Angelito Agbuya preached and welcomed 34 full members and another 12 associate members into the newly organized church.

"I was glad to see the presence of Ms. Joy, she was the one who took some time to send us a text message with a desire to receive a prize from our radio program," said Rated PG host Emily Bolinas.

Several members of Cabanatuan First Church of the Nazarene attended and prepared food.
