Name change for literature ministry

Global Nazarene Publications is the new official name of the non-English literature ministry of the Church of the Nazarene. Formerly known as World Mission Literature, the ministry looked for an over-arching name to encompass multiple publishing names on the regions, such as Victory Books in Papua New Guinea, Rooster Press in Thailand, and Africa Nazarene Publications, to name a few.
According to Director David Hayse, the new name allows for the common identification of the Church of the Nazarene in the global publishing world. With the increasing sales of non-English materials to the Church of the Nazarene and the broader Christian community, it is necessary to have a name that is easily recognizable as a publisher and identifiable in the global publishing market.
The change is in keeping with the direction of the denomination in developing a global identity, and is effective immediately.
