The Madagascar Church joined together to say to the world: "Happy anniversary to Nazarenes all around the world at this Centenary of our denomination in serving the Lord Jesus Christ to accomplish our mission 'to make Christlike disciples in all the nations.'"

The island of Madagascar is one district in the Church of the Nazarene. The churches celebrated this historic event "in joy and with acclamation to glorify our Lord." In addition to warm praise and worship, special emphasis was given to partaking in the Lord's Supper.

Following the worship service, each church provided a special meal for the members and their families. This time was accompanied by fellowship and sharing joy and songs. In the afternoon, the Tana Church of the Nazarene showed a film, and the churches in Morondava and Antalaha took part in evangelism.

District Superintendent Richard Ravelomanantsoa said, "Our prayer is that the Church will maintain and accomplish successfully our mission to build His kingdom until our Lord Jesus Christ will come again."
