This week's praise reports and prayer requests from Nazarene Missions International, JESUS Film Harvest Partners, and NCN News include:

PRAISES

JESUS Film - Honduras

"I had a hard time believing in Christ," said Xiomara in Honduras. "I saw bad testimonies in the lives of others. The JESUS Film helped to change my heart. When I saw the life of Christ, I accepted Him as my Savior. I know He is my Lord!"

JESUS Film - India
"Many people had problems," said a team member in India. "Following the JESUS Film showing, we invited people to come forward for prayer. Over 150 people were there and many came to share their problems with us. We prayed with tears for the people to have hope and a new life in Christ."

JESUS Film - Philippines

"The Lord favors those who seek salvation," said a team member in the Philippines. "We experienced some resistance from another religious group in the area where we where showing the JESUS Film. Praise God, He blessed our work. Several are new believers in Christ and are part of a regular fellowship group."

Neal Estey
We prayed in 2007 for Neal Estey as he battled cancer. Recently our office received this report about Neal's health: "Neal is doing so well that the doctors use his case as an example in their lectures of how chemo and the unexpected can happen. The medical team is well aware that prayer and faith have been a huge part of healing for Neal." Praise the Lord for the witness of faith and hope that has been displayed throughout Neal's treatments and for his continued healing. He is the son of former missionaries John and Sandra Estey, who served in South Africa and Swaziland. (NMI)

PRAYER REQUESTS

Thailand - UPDATE
Please continue to pray that peace and calm might be restored in Bangkok and other areas of Thailand that are experiencing unrest. All of our mission personnel in the country are safe. There have been no reports of injury to any of our Thai Nazarenes, and no report of damage to any of our church facilities. Nazarene security personnel on the field and region are closely following the situation. The events have not taken God by surprise. Pray that Christians will be ministers of hope, peace, and forgiveness in the midst of unrest.

HEALTH-RELATED REQUESTS

Dorothy Evans
Retired missionary Dorothy Evans underwent neck surgery on May 17. She came through the surgery well and is at home. Pray for her complete recovery. Dorothy served in the Philippines and Swaziland.
