Horn of Africa Famine Update
The Africa Region reports a good response to the urgent need for prayer and financial support related to the famine in the Horn of Africa. Cosmos Mutowa of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries in Africa says $500,000 has been raised for Horn of Africa relief. Funds dispersed thus far (all funds are in U.S. dollars) include:

• $19,850 to Ethiopia where 200 families were provided food for two months.
• $19,000 to Somalia where another 250 families were also provided food for two months.
• $75,000 to North Kenya where 500 families are being supported. Of these, 200 are children, 80 are pregnant women, and 65 are physically challenged.
• $263.400 to Gospel-resistant areas in the Horn of Africa to support hundreds of families.

Please continue to pray for the people in Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, and Djibouti who are in serious need of food aid and the loving grace of Jesus Christ. To read more about the famine and additional ways to help, click here to visit Nazarene Compassionate Ministries’ website.

JESUS Film - Guatemala
"My husband opposed the gospel," said a viewer in Guatemala. "I wanted to attend church and learn more about God. My husband was jealous and against me learning about religion. When he left me, I went with my aunt to see the JESUS film. I accepted Jesus as Lord. I have many problems but I will fight them with God's help."

JESUS Film - Peru
"I lived apart from God," said Nelida in Peru. "I am 55 years old and one day my son invited me to watch the JESUS film. I was touched by the Lord and encouraged by Pastor Martha to follow Him. I am following and serving the Lord. I am happy because I was able to help my niece come to a relationship with Christ!"

JESUS Film - Togo
"I looked for ways to harm my competitors," said Koffi in Togo. "I am an electrician with a family. I was born a nature worshiper. I saw the JESUS film and realized I was washed with the precious blood of Jesus. I walk with Him and give Him thanks for my life. I no longer spend my time looking for ways to get ahead or harm others. I serve the Lord and my church."

PRAYER REQUESTS

World AIDS Day
Almost 5,000 people will die today, and every day, because of a completely preventable disease, AIDS. On Sunday, December 4, churches will join brothers and sisters to worship the God who heals and stand up against AIDS. Pray for people who have AIDS and their caregivers, and encourage your church to pray together on December 4. Click here for resources to help your church prepare.
