The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who have recently gone home to be with the Lord. Notices were received April 16-20, 2012.

Edna (Hale) Burke, 92, of Florence, Arizona, passed away on April 7. She was the widow of retired minister and evangelist Owen Merrill Burke, who served in North Dakota, Minnesota, Indiana, and California. Owen Merrill Burke passed away in 2006.

L. Jane Curtis, 82, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away on April 18. She was the wife of retired minister and evangelist Glen Curtis, who served in Ohio and West Virginia. 

Anna I. Davis, 87, of Tehachapi, California, passed away on April 8. She was the widow of retired minister H. Ralph Davis, who served in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and California. H. Ralph Davis passed away in 2001.

Katherine L. (Broady) Elder, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on April 16. She was the widow of minister Norman E. Elder, who served in Indiana. Norman E. Elder passed away in 2000.

Sidney E. Jackson, 87, of Meade, Kansas, passed away on April 6. He was a retired minister, serving in California, Saskatchewan, Iowa, Nevada, and Nebraska. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jackson.

Emmaline (Craft) Mitchell, 80, of Erin, Tennessee, passed away on April 12. She was the wife of retired minister Robert S. Mitchell Sr., who served in South Carolina and Tennessee. 

Elsie M. (Wieand) Mitman, 93, of Salem, New Jersey, passed away on April 17. She was the widow of retired minister Earl V. Mitman, who served in New Jersey. Earl V. Mitman passed away in 1996. 

Robert P. Studt, 73, of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away on April 8. He was a retired missionary, serving in South Africa. He is survived by his wife, Linda L. (Sterzick) Studt.

E. Keith Wiseman, 87, of Meridian, Idaho, passed away on April 16. He was a retired minister and educator, serving in New Mexico, California, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Wiseman, who passed away in 2002.
