The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who have recently gone home to be with the Lord. Notices were received July 30-August 3, 2012.
Earl Baker, 75, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on July 25. He was a retired minister and evangelist, serving in Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann (Deen) Baker.
Nova Daggett, 85, of Springfield, Tennessee, passed away on July 10. She was the widow of retired minister and evangelist Troy J. Daggett, who served in Missouri, Wisconsin, Tennessee and on the Chicago Central District. Troy J. Daggett passed away in 2004.
Luke Johnston, 8, passed away on July 28. He was the step-son of missionary Josh Williams. Luke battled cancer for the last five years.
Donald R. Peterman, 86, of Boise, Idaho, passed away on August 1. He was a retired minister, serving in Oregon, Ohio, Washington, California, and Idaho. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Peterman, who passed away last year.
Jackie L. Vernier, 74, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away on July 26. He was a retired minister, serving in Missouri and Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Janette Vernier.
V. Douglas Wright, 53, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away on July 25. He was a minister, serving in Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Paula Wright.
