Lee M. Jernigan, 82, of Hermitage, Tennessee passed away Saturday, March 15. Jernigan was the wife of the late Alabama South District Superintendent Jules Donald Jernigan, Sr. (1925-2001). The Jernigans had strong ties to Trevecca Nazarene University. read more

SNU nursing program receives $2.5 million grant
The nursing program at Southern Nazarene University has been awarded a $2.5 million grant from an anonymous donor. The money will be used to expand the nursing graduate program in addition to other educational expenses such as instructional technology and scholarships. read more

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University baseball team got a perfect game from senior left-hander Levi Curry in the first game and then used three home runs including a walk-off shot by junior second baseman Josh Estep for a run-rule-shortened second game as the Cougars swept Cedarville University 7-0 and 12-2 March 26. read more
