Florida church witnesses the hand of God at work
On August 15, over 200 volunteers from the Apopka, Florida, Calvary Church of the Nazarene hit the streets of their community in an effort to truly be the hands and heart of Christ. Despite having little to no resources, Calvary stepped out in obedience and witnessed the hand of God at work.

MVNU Church Relations reaches out through innovative programming
The Church Relations department at Mount Vernon Nazarene University has always served as a resource and support for regional Nazarene churches, as well as a partner for community churches. The Institute of 21st Century Church Leadership, or "i21," is an eight-session, two-year program designed for lead pastors who seek to further develop the skills necessary to be successful, fulfilled, and effective in being intentionally missional in their communities. Also, the department's Clergy Kids Retreat continues to grow in popularity.

Trevecca freshmen learn service before leadership
Incoming freshmen at Trevecca Nazarene University found out quickly that service is a prerequisite for leadership. Through a partnership of the university's Center for Leadership, Calling, and Service and the new J. V.
